Congratulations to the newest members of the Texas Zeta Chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, Pledge Class Zeta: Nelson Bruton, Ernesto Berumen, Tyler Dietz, Thomas Getz, Daniel Hernandez, Thomas Tinsley, and Gregg Warren! On April 24, 2010, these gentlemen successfully completed the journey from pledgeship to full brotherhood.
Pledge Class Zeta was the largest Spring semester pledge class in Texas Zeta's history -- over double the size of any previous year's Spring pledge classes. Our Chapter continues to march toward an excellent future, Phi Alpha! |

| Congratulations to Brother Trey Athey for winning Fraternity Man of the Year at the 2010 Student Life & Leadership Awards ceremony. This award is given to Fraternity members at the University of Texas at Tyler for outstanding leadership, living his life by the standards set by his fraternity, and promoting the highest greek standards. Phi Alpha Brother! |

| 3rd Annual Spring Break Kick-Off at Cancun |

Here we are again with the this years Spring Break Party at Cancun. The event will be on Thursday March 4, 2010 at 9pm. We will have a reserved dining area for those who want to eat, sing karaoke, party favors, and most of all dancing! So come out and celebrate your kick off to Spring Break with SAE and have some fun!
This event is limited to members of the Greek Community at The University of Texas at Tyler. Each Sorority/Fraternity member is permitted to bring one guest. |

| On December 5th, 2009, ten gentlemen -- Hutton Moon, Kevin Wood, Adrian Hood, Chaffe Riley, Stephen Demsky, Jeff Garinger, Josh Boggs, J.P. Cochran, Alex Brown, and Trey Athey -- were officially initiated into the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity's Texas Zeta Chapter. These men successfully completed a twelve-week pledgeship in the teachings, principles and history of our great fraternity and are now true Sons of Minerva. Phi Alpha! |

| Patriot Days 2009 |

| Patriot Days 2009 is a week-long event hosted by Student Life and Leadership for all school organizations on campus. All events are group-oriented and fun-filled, some of which are open to all students on campus. This year at Patriot Days, the Texas Zeta Chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon won the gold medal for event activity! |
